What is Field Frolics?

Field Frolics is a small music festival which welcomes a maximum of 200 people.

When is Field Frolics 2023?

In 2023 Field Frolics takes place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September.

Where is Field Frolics?

Field Frolics is held at Buckland St. Mary Village Hall in Somerset, near Chard, just off the A303. The postcode for the venue is TA20 3SP.

How do I get to Field Frolics?

There is no public transport near the venue. We strongly recommend approaching the venue from the A303.

If leaving the M5 at Junction 25 we suggest taking the A358 towards Ilminster then taking the A303 towards Honiton, then following our event signage from Eagle Cross. If using SatNav you may be directed from the A358 earlier than this, we recommend ignoring those directions and instead suggest approaching from the A303.

If using the A30 / A303 from Exeter follow our event signage from Eagle Cross.

 

 

When are the gates open?

Gates are open from midday until 9pm on Friday 8th September and from 9am to 9pm on Saturday 9th September.

When do I need to be offsite?

Please be offsite by midday on Sunday 10th September.

Where is my ticket for Field Frolics 2023?

Depending on the delivery method you chose when you purchased your ticket it will either been emailed or sent by post to you by TicketSource. We recommend printing all tickets received by email to avoid delays on arrival as signal can be patchy at the venue so accessing your emails may be difficult.

What time does the music start at Field Frolics 2023?

On Friday 8th September, music starts at 4pm and finishes at 11pm. On Saturday 9th September, music starts at 1pm and finishes at 11pm.

Can I camp at Field Frolics?

Yes. There are no additional fees to camp.

Can I bring my campervan / motorhome / caravan to Field Frolics?

Yes. There are no additional fees to bring a live-in vehicle.

Do I need a parking pass for Field Frolics?

No. There are no additional parking fees.

Can I bring my dog to Field Frolics?

Yes. Please note that only registered assistance animals are allowed into the hall (where the stage and bar are located). All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and always be cleaned up after.

Is there a bar at Field Frolics 2023?

Yes. A full bar will be provided by Events Horizon.

Can I buy food at Field Frolics 2023?

Yes. Events Horizon will be offering a selection of hot and cold meals and snacks.

Can I bring my own food and drink to Field Frolics 2023?

Yes. We do not place any restrictions on what food or drink you bring for your own consumption. However, we encourage you to support our kitchen and bar which will be serving between them a great selection of alcoholic and soft drinks and hot and cold food and snacks. Buying food and drink on site supports two small businesses; 1. The festival, and 2. Somerset based Events Horizon.

Can I pay by card at Field Frolics 2023?

Signal on site can be patchy so we strongly recommend bringing cash to pay for food and drink.

 
Terms & Conditions
  1. By purchasing a ticket or presenting a ticket for admission you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions

  2. Each attendee must present a valid ticket for the event in order to be granted admission

  3. Tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned after purchase except in the event of the entire event being cancelled

  4. The organiser reserves the right of admission

  5. The organiser reserves the right to alter or cancel any part of the advertised programme or the event without providing any prior notice

  6. No unauthorised sound systems to be used anywhere on site

  7. No fireworks or fire lanterns to be brought on to site

  8. No fires to be lit on site

  9. Dogs and other animals must be kept on a lead at all times

  10. No dogs or other animals are allowed into the hall, except registered assistance animals

  11. Admission is at the risk of the attendee. The organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss or injury howsoever caused

  12. Any person who fails to adhere to the instructions of the organiser or a person acting on behalf of the organiser or fails to comply with these terms and conditions may be liable to ejection from the event

  13. Admission to the event site permitted only after midday on Friday 8th September 2023. All persons must be offsite by midday on Sunday 10th September 2023.
